Candidates may request that a specific review of their results be conducted by the Review Committee of CEO. A request for review is an additional service to a candidate and carries a fee of $350.00, payable upon filing a request for a review. Requests for review must be received by CEO in writing by the deadline associated with the relevant administration date as follows:
A request must outline, in detail, the reasons why the candidate believes their Performance Report to be in error or to misrepresent their actual performance on the assessment. Requests for review are carried out by the Review Committee of CEO. When a decision is made, the Review Committee issues a written response to the candidate, citing the reasoning of the Committee in its disposition of the request. A meeting of the Review Committee to review all submitted requests will be convened within two weeks of the request for review due date and candidates can expect a written response within 30 days of the Review Committee meeting. The Review Committee is authorized to consider whether a candidate was provided a fair opportunity related to their CSAO performance and to resolve errors or omissions in scoring by the CEO CSAO Committee. The Committee is not authorized to consider personal references, educational qualifications, experience, or the results from other assessments in its deliberations. The Review Committee is not authorized to revise a candidate's Performance Report. The Committee only has the authority to correct administrative or scoring errors or to direct the CSAO Committee to conduct another examination or reexamination of the candidate on a subsequent administration. CEO does not provide candidates with any examination materials (including score sheets, question items, question answers, or the range of acceptable results) at any time or for any purpose following an administration of the CSAO. Fees for a review are refunded to an applicant if the Review Committee determines that an error or misrepresentation of their actual performance on the assessment has occurred. |
