The Schedule of the CSAO
The schedule for the CSAO is set by the Board of Directors of CEO-ECO following rigorous consultation with the involved stakeholders.
- In registering for the CSAO, you will be asked to
identify your date and location preferences.
-
Every attempt will be made to satisfy
your preferences, but as space is limited at each
location, CEO-ECO cannot guarantee your preferences.
Travel arrangements should not be made until an
assignment to a specific administration site has
been made.
- For reassessment at Spring administrations, you may
only select the date option specified for reassessments.
- You may not take parts of the CSAO on one date and
the remainder on another date.
- You may register for only one date of
administration.
- The estimated reporting date for an administration
is approximately six weeks after the last day of
administration.
- Registrations from all eligible candidates will be
handled on a first received, first processed basis.
- The CSAO will be administered in English-only at the
Waterloo site for both Spring administrations, while
offered in both French and English at the Montréal site.
Fall administrations are offered in both French and
English, regardless of location.
- Per administration capacity for both the Waterloo
and Montréal sites is 80 candidates.
- A personal schedule indicating specific times and
locations for the assessment components will be mailed
to you approximately two weeks in advance of the
assessment date, along with an identification badge.
- Your identification badge must be worn at all times
during the administration and is required for admittance
to all of the CSAO component assessments.
- Travel arrangements should be of sufficient
flexibility to accommodate last-minute changes in the
skills components schedule and provincial jurisprudence
examinations that may be scheduled around the time of
the CSAO.
- The address you provide on your registration form
will be the address to which CEO directs mail to you.
CEO will not send mail to any other address unless
written notice of a change of address is received from
you.
- There is NO extension of registration deadline
dates. A valid cheque, draft or money order must
accompany your application form in order for it to be
processed. Any registration that is received without
payment will not be processed.
- An Orientation Seminar will be held the day before
each of the administrations, and provide you with an
opportunity to ask questions and familiarize yourself
with the physical facilities of the site.
These policies are upheld to allow for appropriate
security, bilingual administration,
manageable numbers at each location, and optimum
efficiency of administration.
