CSAO > Administration Policies > Illness
Proof of illness consists of a written report from an attending licensed regulated health professional relevant to the illness which identifies the illness and the limits that the illness places on the candidate’s performance ability on the CSAO.
Candidates who become ill before the commencement of an administration of the CSAO may cancel their candidacy. Reimbursement of fees from the Executive Committee may be requested by providing proof of illness.
Candidates who become ill during an administration of the CSAO may withdraw from the CSAO by notifying the Supervisor of the administration. Withdrawal from the CSAO during an administration applies to the entire remainder of the administration.
Proof of illness must be provided to CEO within thirty days of withdrawing. Candidates who withdraw and provide proof of illness will have the results for the components affected by the illness nullified and be granted the opportunity to take the affected components at the next administration date, without additional fees. No extension shall be given to completing the entire CSAO within three consecutive administrations.
